Cantele Winery

The history of the winery begins with the journey of Giovanni Battista Cantele who in 1950 decided to move from the North to Salento together with his wife Teresa and their two sons, Augusto and Domenico.

The vines are mainly local such as Negroamaro, Primitivo, Susumaniello and Fiano del Salento, but also Chardonnay. The exposure of the vineyards follows the origin of the prevailing winds, tramontana and sirocco.
